Finca La Estancia - Sustainable Farm

Meet, greet, and groom a horse, snuggle a chicken take a short walk through the tropical dry forest to the hillside plant nursery, kick back in a rocking chair and enjoy a refreshment. Learn about Las Catalinas composting program, their efforts to support the community of Tempate, and how you can get involved.

You will have the option to purchase eggs de gallinas felices, honey from La Estancia, and other organic products from a local producer. The visit will be adapted to your interests. It can last anywhere from 10 minutes to 2 hours and is available throughout the day Monday to Friday.

Price per person is a $10 Collective Impact Campaign donation ($5 for kids under 12). The money raised will be used to support local organizations dedicated to regenerative agriculture, regenerative tourism, and climate resistance. We look forward to welcoming you.
